Welcome to FlashlightReviews.ca, freshly redesigned in 2023.

This site is primarily intended for those who are looking to objectively compare flashlights, as a guide to helping you choose the right one for your needs.

It is based largely on the content that I developed for my old flashlightreviews.ca website (circa 2010-2015), when I was very actively reviewing lights on Candlepowerforums. Those reviews are still available, all linked on my Reviews page.

Starting in 2023, I’ve refreshed the formatting of this site to a slightly more modern style, and am posting new reviews directly here. Feel free to raise any questions on the individual review posts. Most of the background information has been slightly revised and modernized – but do keep in mind that most of it dates back to an earlier era in flashlight testing.

I don’t have the time I used to direct to this hobby, so please expert a lower number of ongoing reviews.  Hope you enjoy the site!
